The Josef Kanz GmbH & Co. KG is one of the leading manufacturers of baby and children wear.
This success results from the company philosophy “highest fashionable topicality and quality at customer-friendly price-performance ratio”. Modern technology, mature product know-how, sophisticated product design and responsible forward looking trading – this is their strategy.
The company was founded in 1949 by Josef Kanz in Neufra.

Kanz children’s fashions is now available in 28 countries worldwide. Russia and the Eastern European states like Estland, Lettland and Lithuania are considered as strong export countries. Kanz is also very successful, among others, in Saudi Arabia, Poland, Macedonia, the Czech Republic, Taiwan and the United States of America as very good sales figures.

The KIDS segment (up to size 140). Especially for the young schoolkid.



In Germany, KANZ supplies approx. 1.000 retailers. KANZ childrens fashion can mainly be found in specialised childrenswear retail stores. 8 agencies represent KANZ on the German market to cover all federal states area-wide.
KANZ designs merry, cool and functional baby and childrens fashion. As leading brand manufacturer, ‘production’ is taken very seriously and quality is top priority. The KANZ technician staff is assigned worldwide in order to guarantee the high quality standard. KANZ products are subject to a constant quality control and supervision. The use of natural materials like pure cotton from best cultivating areas is of great importance: natural materials are being processed ecologically friendly and finished environmentally compatible. Easy-care of the products is retained: each article is machine-washable, dimensionally stable and can be tumble-dried.
For our children’s sake we are specially committed to the human ecology. Children shall grow up healthy, feel good and enjoy their childhood lightheartedly. At company KANZ we try to contribute our part hereto: by eudermic underwear being certified since 1998 according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Each component of this underwear, as e.g. fabric, thread or press button, is tested for pollutants, by which skin irritations can be avoided.
From the purchasing stage on, KANZ selects exclusively certified threads, fabrics and other parts which allow us tolabel the final product with Oeko-Tex. We only use tested fabrics. This is enabled by the internationally standardized Oeko-Tex Standard 100, as well as worldwide examining institutions. 25 % of our production are being equipped with the Oeko-Tex label –to guarantee the standard demanded by trade and parents worldwide. The KANZ quality manual is part of the KANZ purchase conditions.
