Everything began in 1987 when the founders Norbert Baldauf and Uschi Scharfen took an idealistic approach to manufacturing all around healthy bedding themselves. The public had just realized, that highly toxic substances were even finding their way into consumers most private retreat -their bed.
The PROLANA team is known for its very early strive to convince and support producers of raw materials to produce organically at times when there was almost no market for such products at all. And so PROLANA became the first company in Germany to offer ecologically produced bedding.
Today PROLANA`s team of highly motivated men and women creates a broad selection of bedding products that has found a firm place in the market and in the hearts of its customers, by prevailing over mass products that have been produced inconsiderately to man as well as nature.
