Children`s wear from France.

In 1987 was the birth of the 4 letters, with Gerard Legoff`s desire to invent an affordable trendy junior style with a strong personality and therefore set itself apart from the existing children`s clothing universe which was rather `basic` and very `good girls`

At the time it was impossible to call the brand X, as the French designer wanted because he did not know what name to give it... so he opted for a phonetic substitute, I.K.K.S.
The head office was at Cholet, in the bastion of the French textile industry (3 hours to the west of Paris).



From then on IKKS JUNIOR claimed responsibility for trendy sportswear, inspired from men`s and women`s fashion and was the first to add black to children`s collections.
The IKKS child has a strong personality. They are intelligent but not top of the class. They are assertive and rebellious but not revolutionary. In one word, they are the ideal child...
