RICOSTA main goal is to make children`s shoes that work.  This is why all the knowledge and experience obtained from strategic alliances and top-quality research projects is put directly to use in shoes. Each RICOSTA shoe is derived from the highest level of technology, functionality and safety.
RICOSTA has been producing children’s shoes for 35 years. In 1969 Roland Rieker formed the RICOSTA children’s shoe factory in Donaueschingen. Today RICOSTA is one of the largest shoe manufacturers in Europe, selling 2.3 million pairs of shoes per year. RICOSTA has around 1400 employees at production sites in Germany, Hungary, Romania and Poland and is still run by its founding family.
To ensure the accuracy of the fit and the highest degree of quality, RICOSTA shoes come from Europe.
The design and development facilities are located in Donaueschingen, while goods required on demand and patterns for collections also come off the conveyor belt here.  The entire RICOSTA logistics centre is also managed in Donaueschingen.  RICOSTA shoes are primarily bought in the core countries of Europe, while the newly industrialised countries are contributing significantly to the company’s rise in turnover.

The company focuses besides fashion strongly on scientific expertise as well: studies about children`s feet and feet measurements according to WMS. Including also customer service and the demands and needs of the specialised trade.
